Hi, my name is Damion Hartley and I run Jump Start School of Motoring based in Wakefield. I qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor, (ADI) in April 2014 following twelve months of professional training.
Selecting the right driving instructor is really important. Not only are you investing your money into the process but you are also investing your time too. According to the latest national statistics, it can take up to 45 hours to reach test standard and therefore you and your instructor could be spending a lot of time together.
We realise that people are different with varying needs when they approach a driving school. Some learner drivers may never have driven before and be nervous and require of lots of practice and encouragement. Others may have completed hours of driving or even passed their test. Regardless of your capabilities, we treat each student individually and create a learning environment tailored to your needs.
I have completed a BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Coaching for Driver Development. This course has given me additional skills which enable me to develop your skills using a variety of coaching methods.
